 Aug, 2011 - Welcome new faculty members of CECA: Dr. Guojie Luo & Dr. Guangyu Sun!

Dr. Guojie Luo received his B.S. degree (with honors) in Computer Science from Peking University, Beijing, China in 2005, the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from UCLA in 2008 and 2011, respectively. He joined the faculty of Center for Energy-Efficient Computing and Applications (CECA), School of EECS at Peking University from August 2011. His current research interests include physical design automation, highly-scalable algorithms, and advanced design technologies for 3D ICs. 

Dr. Guangyu Sun received his B.S. and M.S degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Pennsylvania State University in 2011. He joined the faculty of Center for Energy-Efficient Computing and Applications (CECA), School of EECS at Peking University from August 2011. Dr. Sun received the 2012 EDAA outstanding dissertation award for his Ph.D. thesis titled “Exploring Memory Hierarchy Design with Emerging Memory Technologies”. His research interests include computer architecture, VLSI Design, and electronic design automation (EDA).
