Jun 25, 2015 -  Prof. Di Zhao from Chinese Academy of Science visited CECA and gave a talk on "Big Data Analytics: from Mobile GPU to Supercomputing".

Abstract: Big Data Analytics often refers to the use of predictive analytics to extract valuable information from large-scale datasets such as image data and video data, and big data analytics is performed on the platform from mobile GPU to GPU supercomputers and cloud computing. In this talk, we will introduce our works of big data analytics through GPU computing, which includes image and video processing and analysis on mobile GPU system NVIDIA Tegra K1, as well as image and video data analytics on supercomputers with hundreds of GPUs. Also, we will discuss the research and training plan of GPU computing for big data analytics.
