Welcome New Faculty Member: Dr. Jun Huang

Welcome new faculty member of CECA: Dr. Jun Huang (Assistant Professor at CECA)!

 

Dr. Jun Huang received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Beihang Unviersity, Beijing, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Michigan State University in 2012. From August 2012 to July 2016, he was a Postdoctoral research associate at Michigan State University, serving as a Co-PI on one NSF grant. He joined the faculty of Center for Energy-Efficient Computing and Applications (CECA), School of EECS at Peking University from August 2016. His current research interests include wireless networking, mobile systems, and Internet of Things. He has published over 20 papers in peer-reviewed conference proceedings and journals. He is the recipient of the Best Paper Award at the 18th International Conference on Network Protocols (ICNP). He has been serving as a reviewer for many conferences and journals, including Ubicomp, MobiHoc, RTSS, ACM/IEEE TON, IEEE TMC, and IEEE TWC etc.
