课程简介:
本课着重于向学生介绍计算机结构的基本结构和高性能计处理器的设计。 本课会回顾传统计算机系统的结构并广泛的介绍多种提高性能的硬件/结构 方法。内容同时包括单核和并行计算结构。学生能够更利用从课上获得 的基本技能理解先进计算机系统的设计。最后,通过对一到两个系统 组件的仿真与分析能够对课上学习的概念有更深刻的理解。
This course overviews the architecture of traditional computing systems and extensively practices various hardware/architectural means that enhance performance of computer systems. Both uni-processor and concurrent systems will be investigated. Students are expected to apply basic knowledge learned in the course to understand more advanced systems.
